New project for Interbuild: welcoming Rubens House

We are proud to announce that we have officially won and won the project 'New reception, Rubens' experience center, library and offices '. The Rubens House will have a contemporary reception building by 2024, designed by Robbrecht and Daem architects, and now assuredly built by Interbuild!

We are working on this project for the City of Antwerp, and it involves a new building volume
of 8 building layers (2 underground and 6 above ground layers), with the following program:

• Niv -2: Archives / storerooms / techniques
• Niv -1: Rubens experience center (REC).
• Ground floor: Reception / shop
• Niv +1: Museum Cafe
• Niv +2: Public reading room
• Niv +3: Library
• Niv +4/+5: Offices

This is a technically challenging project in the center of Antwerp (Hopland 13), realized between existing buildings, adjacent to the protected historic garden of the Rubens House. The works will commence on February 1, 2022 and provisional delivery is scheduled for 07/11/2023 with a contractual completion time of 400 working days.
