Swallow Fund

We not only try to be there for our own colleagues, we also want to contribute to the well-being of people outside the borders of our organization. This is why, in 2012, BAM Belgium established the Swallow Fund through which we support good causes. This is how we continue to build a more social and inclusive environment every year.

Since 2019, we have selected three charities that our employees have a close relationship with. With this thorough involvement of our people, we strengthen the social impact of our actions. In addition, we organize several events where we make a positive contribution. For example, every year we cycle for Fight Against Cancer, plant trees and do clean-up actions.

Compliance

Increasing external demands (customers, investor expectations) and internal needs (predictable performance, challenging goals and higher cyber risks) make it increasingly important to guard against policy and regulatory compliance and proper data handling, privacy and information security (ISO).

Lisel Geers, our Compliance Officer, ensures that we always act with integrity and in line with the strategic agenda and the global BAM code of conduct.

Code of Conduct

Our goal is clear: build a sustainable future. In everything we do, that is the starting point. The art of building is in building for communities, in building for life. It is crucial that we stay true to our BAM values and do the right thing, using our Code of Conduct as a compass. Our Code of Conduct provides insight into how we uphold our values and what responsibilities we have to do the right thing.

Speak Up

If you witness a violation of our Code of Conduct or suspect potential misconduct, you can report it to our compliance officer, Lisel Geers, so that we can assess the matter, investigate it if necessary, and learn from it. You can also contact the external Speak Up service via the Speak Up reporting page on the homepage. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
