3 new-build towers each with its own architecture and reduced CO2 emissions thanks to cogeneration
O'Sea Beach, with Immobel NV as builder, is phase 2 of the O'Sea project and includes a new construction of 134 apartments and 102 assisted housing units with underground parking. The project is located in Troonstraat in Ostend, next to the KV Ostend soccer stadium.
O'Sea Beach consists of one underground level parking lot and three separate buildings, each with its own architecture. Building JK consists of a combination of precast elements with stone strips where the terraces are covered with a sheet material. Building HI consists of classic façade parament combined with sheet material. Finally, Building L is entirely in facing brick combining different masonry dressings.
A combined heat and power (CHP) system will be installed at the site that will ensure that heat and electricity are produced simultaneously. Because of the CHP, there will be lower consumption which will also reduce CO2 emissions.
