Renovated office building nicknamed "Mirror Palace"

The Vivium office building (along the Desguinlei in Antwerp), which dates back to the 1980s, was completely renovated: it was stripped down to the skeleton and redecorated. The renovation included all techniques and finishes where the entire facade was also renovated. Since the renovation, the tower lives up to its nickname of "palace of mirrors", the facade is even smoother and as reflective as before. The energy performance does meet modern requirements, with a K-level of K 38 and an E-level of E 70, as well as a BREEAM certificate. Seventeen office floors, a technical floor and two underground levels together house about 14,000 m² of above-ground and about 5,000 m² of underground area.

The unit was repurposed by Vivium since November 2012.
