New school building for primary and special primary & secondary education
This project involves the construction of a new school building for IBSO and BBOG Woudlucht Heverlee. Woudlucht is a GO! School and includes an elementary school for Special Primary Education and for Special Secondary Education. Education here offers the following forms of training: commercial kitchen worker, interior decorator, horticultural worker.
The existing buildings and container classrooms gave way to a new construction project of 10,500 square meters designed by Cuypers and Q architects. The boarding school section was retained.
BAM Contractors built the new complex consists of 5 new buildings that include modern classrooms, vocational and lab rooms, adapted classrooms for the auto work (children with mental disabilities and autism), a spacious refectory, classrooms for administration, a gymnasium and an underground parking lot that banned a lot of parked cars from the streets.
