New construction apartments with emphasis on sustainable construction by pursuing optimal airtightness, increased insulation, intelligent ventilation and heat recovery system

Commissioned by Skyline Limburg nv, Interbuild constructed two buildings in Bilzen. Together, the buildings comprise 98 apartments, and are situated on top of a single-level parking garage. Besides the strategic location of Residentie Belisa in relation to Hasselt, Tongeren, Genk and Maastricht, the proximity to the city center, public transport, stores, restaurants, sports facilities and schools for children is a plus.

Belisa's design is characterized by the staggered terraces and by a large portion of the windows placed outside the façade. This gives a playful appearance, along with the color schemes of the brick facades and the triangular-shaped bay windows, which "hang" outside the facade, so to speak.

Residence Belisa consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, all with spacious terraces, always with a view of greenery. The living spaces of the apartments overlook a beautiful and peaceful inner garden. Inside, extraordinary care was given to layout and functionality.

The construction is built with precast concrete walls, pre-walls, silicate walls and wide slab floors. Emphasis was placed on sustainable construction, by pursuing optimal airtightness, by insulating more than required by law, by installing super-insulating glass and by intelligently ventilating with balanced ventilation, an ingenious system with heat recovery.
