Kairos, BAM Interbuild, and BAM fm together form the Belgian division of the Dutch parent company Royal BAM Group. Together, as one large team, we focus on developing, building, and maintaining leading building projects.
Within Belgium, BAM Interbuild is the building specialist par excellence, primarily serving the Flemish and Brussels regions. Projects such as the MAS and the Port House in Antwerp, and the Finance Tower, NATO Headquarters, and the Résidence Palace in Brussels will certainly ring a bell.
We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team with enthusiasm and contribute to our projects (in Flanders and Brussels)!
Function
- As Site Manager, your job is to ensure that the construction site runs smoothly from start to finish. This involves overseeing and coordinating all employees, subcontractors, materials, work, etc.
- Monitor the schedule and ensure that each phase is completed on time.
- Ensuring safety on the construction site and making sure every employee can return home safely.
- Work with the Project Manager to motivate your team members and ensure that everyone feels comfortable in their role.
- Effective communication with your team to foster strong collaboration.
Profile
- Do you already have relevant experience in site management for large construction projects? Great! Do you also have a bachelor’s degree in construction, industrial engineering, or a related field? Fantastic!
- You immediately notice when a situation is unsafe, and you take the initiative to bring it to people’s attention or suggest improvements.
- You think proactively and respond quickly. When a problem arises, you can come up with an efficient solution right away, while always keeping safety in mind.
- No detail escapes your notice; you’re organized and you enjoy working in a results- and goal-oriented manner.
- You are a native Dutch speaker with knowledge of French.
