Office building with both classic and contemporary character in the heart of Brussels

On the site of the former Vivaqua building, in the shadow of the Palace of Justice in Brussels, Interbuild has constructed the new office building Tweed. Tweed's architecture takes into account the form and impact of this historic building that characterizes the street. For example, through the use of natural stone, steel structures, and bronze-colored aluminum glazing, the facade exudes a character that is both classic and contemporary.

Tweed has two underground floors that include 80 parking spaces, 38 bike parking spaces and showers, a ground floor with atrium, a second floor with mezzanine, 6 full and two smaller floors, a technical floor with conference room and an accessible rooftop terrace.

The building is equipped with a sprinkler system and fire detection. Smoke detection in the corridors and overpressurization of the stairwells is provided. In the underground floors there is CO detection and a smoke evacuation system. Raised floors and active ceilings are provided in the office spaces.

The building is BREEAM "Excellent" certified and meets Passive 2015 Brussels standards.

Interbuild completed the Tweed project in a very short time frame of 18 months.
