The Middelheim project is a DBFM contract for the new construction of 72 assisted housing units and a service center with an attached daycare center.

The assisted living apartments are housed in the 44-meter-high high-rise building with 13 floors (12 + 1 technical floor). On the ground floor is a common service center for residents. Six assisted living units are built per floor, and all assisted living units are equipped with a lockable terrace.

Also on the first floor, there is a passage to the 2-story building that houses the nursery. This passage ensures that both buildings remain autonomous. The care apartments and the daycare center each have their own entrance but can also be entered separately along this passage.

The project provides underground parking under the high-rise and transit, covered bicycle parking and integrated parking in a green zone.

Both buildings are constructed in traditional "frame construction" and the facade is constructed with natural stone.
