With Campus Nieuw Zuid, Interbuild completed new housing for students, building 123 student rooms and 24 student flats.

The design includes six above-ground and one underground level. The spacious entrance area connects the residence's private garden with the outdoor environment and provides access to the underground bicycle storage. The Bigger&Cheaper concept from the master plan is continued to strengthen the sense of space and the link between inside and outside.

The load-bearing facade was executed in sandwich panels with an exterior shell in white architectural concrete with various textures. The joint distribution of the panels makes the facade construction more challenging. The student apartments each have their own kitchenette, while the rooms have communal kitchens. Each residence was furnished with, among other things, a plug-and-play bathroom to accommodate the short construction time.

Interbuild constructed Campus Nieuw Zuid for the building owner Triple Living.

Campus Nieuw Zuid is part of the 'Nieuw Zuid' project, a new neighborhood in the south of Antwerp. The project area is located between the Scheldt quays, Namenstraat, Jan van Gentstraat, Brusselstraat and the Ring Road. For the entire 'Nieuw Zuid' site, an external heat network was installed by the city of Antwerp, providing heat to every building by using renewable energy.
