New South keeps changing. Work on Block 22-25 is still in full swing, but in the meantime, project 'Zicht' has also been completed!
The 'Zicht' and 'Parkzicht 2.0' projects are located at Nieuw Zuid in Antwerp and were built in collaboration with Triple Living. Parkzicht 2.0 was completed some time ago.
The projects included the construction of an underground parking lot consisting of three floors. This parking lot is the basis for three buildings: the residential tower consisting of 24 floors for 166 apartments, a three-story office and a four-story apartment building with a total of 40 apartments.
The tower and office of the 'Zicht' project are constructed in architectural concrete. Verheyen sandwich panels are used for the tower, in which the exterior joinery is also pre-mounted. The ventilation, sprinkler system and light points of the apartments are embedded in the floor slabs. 'Parkzicht 2.0' in turn is a feat of architecture where masonry takes center stage. Glazed bricks of the facade continue into the entrance halls.
