Anderlecht, March 29, 2024 - Under a bright spring sun, the maypole was planted on Project Deleers, an inclusive and sustainable project combining education, retail, housing, and social life along the canal. The event was attended by Sven Gatz (Open VLD), Minister of Finance and Budget of the Brussels Capital Region, and Anderlecht Mayor Fabrice Cumps (PS).
Minister Sven Gatz: "This educational campus on the canal is taking shape at record speed. As early as September next year, the first students will be attending school here. My thanks to the professional construction team of Kairos and BAM Interbuild, and to GO! and the municipality of Anderlecht for the good cooperation."
Mayor Fabrice Cumps: "This project is a great added value for the municipality: the school meets a great demand in Dutch-speaking education, the SMEs will provide economic development and employment. We are also pleased that housing will once again be created in Anderlecht."
