BAM Interbuild & Kairos have earned the CO2 Performance Ladder – Level 2 certificate

We are proud to announce that, together with Kairos nv, we achieved Level 2 of the CO2 Performance Ladder (Manual 4.0) at the end of last year. This makes us the second construction company in Belgium to reach this level.

What does Step 2 actually entail?

In Phase 2, we are focusing our efforts on the emission streams where we can have the greatest impact. Not only do we fully incorporate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions into our reduction targets, but we also focus primarily on activities with the greatest impact. This applies both to our own operations and to those of suppliers and partners in the supply chain.

In addition, we look beyond our own organization. We also analyze other emissions streams outside the supply chain that we can influence, such as circular materials and energy partnerships. This allows us to identify areas where we can make further progress.

A key guiding principle is our long-term vision. We look beyond the next year and set goals for the next five to ten years. At BAM Interbuild, Kairos, and BAM fm, we continue to look ahead to a more sustainable future, in which all our partners also play an active role.
